Rubber Band Mock Gunnery shooting range and tournament. We will have targets and RBG to shoot. We will do a practice round and a round for scoring.
Rubber Band Gun Tournament. Two participants, each armed with whatever weapons or equipment they each may choose to wear upon their person, will enter the list. No weapon or other defensive equipment may be carried in the hands when entering the list. Each will be presented with a pistol loaded with a single shot (rubber band gun). The person with higher rank in the Order of Precedence may choose the first pistol, the other goes to the lesser ranked participant. Both will take place in the center of the list, with backs toward one another and facing opposite directions. The officiating marshal will give a count of five, on each count both duelists must take one step forward in a straight line away from their opponent. Neither may exit the list for any reason. At the last count there will be a pause, then the marshal will command "Turn!", at which time both participants may move freely and fire their shot. Once an opponent has fired their shot they may draw and/or use any other weapons they have upon their person and continue the duel.
Scoring is as follows: 1 point for winning, 1 point for each wounding of your opponent without killing them, 1 point for wounding your opponent with a pistol shot, 1 point for being wounded by your opponent's shot without moving after turning
Format will be random draw pairings each round. Any participant that is "killed" according to standard rapier rules is out of the tournament! (Dead is dead) With the caveat that you can "buy" yourself one extra life if you can earn the favor of a patron/patroness. Depending on the size of the spectators gallery.
Master Roland will be providing the RBG pistols and ammo, no outside pistols. The ammo will be underpowered so they don't shoot very far.
Weather permitting
9 am - 3 pm, loaner axes and knives are available.
Marshal-in-charge: Chey Wolf the Amazon, wyldmoon@msn.com

The KEM'S Marshal refresher class will be held, led by the Midlands Regional Archery Marshal. The course is the same for all martial disciplines.
Combat activities are reliant on outdoor space. If it is raining the day of the event, all list-based activites will need to be cancelled.
Weather looks good. Game on!
