Judging of best cookies brought to the event will be by populace choice. Drop a bead in the dish next to your favorite cookie. Winner to be announced at 4 p.m.
Best Mocktails, Mock Tails and Mock Tales
Bring your mocktail for the judge to taste, your mock tail to be judged on appearance, or tell your tale mocking someone to make the judge laugh.
Judging at 1 p.m., meet at the gate/troll table.

12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Calligraphy: Italic script with Claire de Pizan
This will teach you how to write Italic in the style of Bernardino Cataneo. All supplies will be provided. Children over 12 are welcome. Class size is limited to 8.
3 p.m. Making Award Recommendations with Tali Essen
All Ages Welcome. What is an Evergreen? Is there a difference between Silver Oaks and Willows? What Do I do if I or a friend have changed our SCA names? In this class we will go over the Recommendation form, Frequently Asked Questions, and the Awards of the Midrealm.

Learn the courtly art of decorative embroidery on spheres. Embroidery supplies available for up to 12 students

9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Color Theory with Slime with Tali Essen
All Ages welcome. Come learn color theory in a tactile way! Learn how to use gouache with slime to help figure out color mixing without ending up with a lot of mixed paint in a color you didn’t intend to make. Kids are welcome and will be given separate slime colored with tempera paints. You get to keep what you make, and containers will be provided. Suggested donation of $5 to help offset the cost of slime.
