The Control Box
The Design comprises of a Foam Encasing for the Window that is supported on the sides by Duron walls. The shaft of the window is fit into a hole cut out in the foam and the shaft is connected to the window using zip ties. The curtain is operated using a band-drive pulley system that is connected to the top and supported at the ends by the Duron walls.
Most of the electrical components are housed in a Duron laser-cut control box. The box has convenient holes to press-fit the Joystick, the IR-LED sensors and the LED Matrix Display. it also has slotted walls to allow easy accessibility to the inner components and convenient disassembly.
