The Ashford Park Eagles Chorus is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in vocal music while fostering a love for singing and performance. Our group consists of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. We meet after school on Tuesdays from 2:30pm-4:00pm in the Music Trailer (T2). Auditions are held in August. Our season begins in late August and concludes before the end of March. Students who are selected to join this group represent the best talent of Ashford Park School!
Objectives
Through participation in chorus, students will:
Learn how to properly sing and care for our voices.
Develop and strengthen musical skills and vocal technique
Learn and perform age-appropriate choral repertoire
Grow as individual musicians and as members of a musical team
Gain valuable performance experience both within the school and throughout the DeKalb County and Metro Atlanta area
Our goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students can build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Some or our past performances and engagements:
APS Fall Fair
