The Joiner Sub Pool is a list of eager randos who are COMMITTED to race day. They paid the registration fee as individuals (instead of Squad Captains) and are not presently on a squad but can be drawn in  for a leg or much more by a squad that needs them.

We alllllllll love a Joiner!  

And we NEED joiners to build this race!  The whole POINT of the race is to help people make new friends while doing some community service disguised as fun!  

Interest Survey:  

Squad Leaders and people of the "Joiner Pool" are encouraged to fill out the CCW's interest survey. 

Although that survey originated  to drive event creation by CCW and draw in volunteers, it might help surface some attributes that help Race Organizeers combine members who have fun together because of shared interests, demographics, etc.  The data is not made public, however it is occassionally put to use by Board Members when they are organizing club activities.
