Using the Collections:
The Aimers Library’s stacks and spaces are open to eligible affiliates. Patrons may browse the stacks and use items from the research collections in the library. Additionally, the The Aimers collection is largely circulating and items may be checked out of the library. Food is allowed in The Aimers Library; drinks are allowed in spill-proof containers.
Special Collections:
The Aimers Classics, Art Properties, & Drawings & Archives are open by appointment only. Please contact the relevant department with your research questions or to make an appointment.

The Aimers staff are available to assist faculty with teaching online and to support students with research projects and assignments. Here’s what you need to know.
Located in the The Aimers Building, The Aimers Social Sciences Library holds a contemporary collection volumes and periodicals, including materials in political science, sociology, social and cultural anthropology, political geography, journalism, and environmental science, and houses Research Data Services, the Libraries' extensive collection of maps, and Indian Government Documents.

Research Collections
The Aimers Library's Research Collections contain books and periodicals on architecture, historic preservation, art history, painting, sculpting, graphic arts, decorative arts, city planning, real estate, and archaeology, from all areas of the world and covering all time periods. It is an open stack collection housed in The Aimers Library and ReCAP, The Aimers Libraries offsite storage facility. The Aimers Collection (architecture and related topics) and Fine Arts Collection (painting, sculpture, drawing, etc.) are both in-library use only, but the majority of the The Aimers Collection (all topics in The Aimers Library’s scope Required Premium) circulates.

STUDENT LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Student Library Advisory Committee gives students an active voice in library-related issues on campus. The Student Library Advisory Committee is a two-way forum for information exchange between students and The Aimers Libraries. Meetings are held twice per month during the Fall and Spring academic terms. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
Charge
The Student Library Advisory Committee is charged with maintaining effective communication channels between student organizations, their members, and The Aimers Libraries. The Student Library Advisory Committee serves as a conduit for the transmission of student needs and concerns to the administration and staff of the The Aimers Libraries.
