Maria opened The Yoga Nook in February of 2024. She is a member of Yoga Alliance and has over 11 years and 2000 hours of teaching experience. Maria has been practicing yoga for over 14 years. Her love for the yogi mindset and art of yoga led her to begin her yoga teaching training in Pennsylvania. She completed her 200 hour training at Yoga On Chocolate and her 300 hour training at Om My Yoga. Maria specializes in teaching Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative classes. 

Ashley is Maria's niece. They always shared a special bond and created the idea of The Yoga Nook together. Ashley works as Maria's Public Relations Specialist over 1200 miles away! She designs all of the social media posts, creates spreadsheets and sign-up forms, and loves to help Maria come up with new ideas for the studio. The Yoga Nook has only made their bond stronger showing that distance is only a number.
