While most inhabitants of Imaginara know that this land exists, no one has been able to get there without magical means like Elfdust or Translocation Bells. The North Pole is home to Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and a contingent of elves who work year-round to prepare for Santa Clause’s big night where he travels to the mortal world and delivers presents to good boys and girls. While those who believe in Santa Claus and the North Pole think the region exists on Earth, the truth is far more magical than that.

Every holiday has stories that contribute to its meaning and traditions. These stories often become part of a culture’s mythology and are often expounded upon by writers and artists alike. The North Pole is featured in innumerable interpretations of the mythology in both books and on screen.
