Deadly and Damned

Our Monster of the Week publishing spree continues – and concludes – with an anthology of all six previously released adventures, entitled Tales of the Deadly and the Damned. This is a fully loaded, 124-page book with loads of extra material, and it will also be released as a gorgeous print-on-demand product, hopefully in both soft and hard cover. This is definitely one to look out for!

It’s the Blood Truth!

Yes, it's true: we have wrapped up our last Monster of the Week adventure: Blood Truth. It's the biggest one yet at 28 pages, and packs a real horror punch, pitting the hunters against a dangerous vampire coven, but also getting them caught in the battle between the vampires and The Radiant Truth, a righteous, ruthless and zealous group of vampire hunters. The scene is set for an apocalyptic finale!

The barrage continues

The Yellow Hand continues its barrage of releases! This time, we've released a whopping ten (10) setting articles for the HârnMaster RPG, culled from our epic Saga of Gundar Green-Eye campaign. Each article describes an intriguing part of the Hârn fantasy RPG setting and can be used as a standalone, but is also available as an integrated part of the campaign.

Who’s counting?

Well, we are of course! Counting the days until The Yellow Hand can officially start selling our products. While we are currently pre-revenue, we have a LOT of cool things in the hopper, and we've been working hard to get them to you. How does a total of 880 pages of roleplaying goodness sound? And that's not even counting a full, production-ready boardgame, in itself representing many many hundreds of hours of development and playtesting. Stay tuned – the countdown has started!

Gundar lives

Our Hârn publishing spree continues with the re-release of The Saga of Gundar Green-Eye; an epic, free download 334 page HârnMaster campaign which was originally published in 2022, but which has been significantly updated and re-packaged as a Yellow Hand product. It's a mammoth campaign which deserves a closer look! And guess what? It's F-R-E-E!

Onwards, to Lythia!

The Yellow Hand can proudly present our first official release: three modules for the HârnMaster RPG and the HârnWorld setting. Trouble in Rethem is a thrilling 102-page adventure, Gerdel is the setting for that same adventure, and The Legacy Grimoire offers spells for the ambitious mage to learn and cast. Go to Lythia.com, check them out, and download for F-R-E-E!

Monster of the Month

Ben Swainbank has been busy cranking out Monster of the Week adventures – not quite one per week, but not far from it! Two additional adventures have been completed out of the planned six, and only one remains! Coming to an online store near you very soon!

Spellbinding

Robb Dudock and his group of Hârn players have been quite productive, racking up an inpressive list of useful spells for the HârnMaster RPG. We decided to collect them all in a Legacy Grimoire – yours for free! Don't miss it.

The poster post

It didn't seem quite right to do an epic RPG setting like Draconicus without a proper promotional poster, so here it is – 34 x 22 glorious inches of full color fantasy goodness, with lots of details on the setting, and a lush visual style that will look good on any wall.

In playtest mode

Our upcoming Draconicus boardgame got its first trial of fire last night. Fortunately, we found no fires that needed putting out and the game seems to work just as intended. Of course, this is not really a surprise, since the game has been in playtesting for well over a year, though under a different name, using a different IP which we were hoping to license. We have now decided to move forward with our own version of the game, however, and expect to bring it to a crowdfunding platform near you very shortly.

Getting there!

Getting where, you may ask? Why, to Gerdel of course - Gerdel in Réthem that is, which is on the west coast of the island of Hârn. We have been hard at work on a fanon adventure entitled Trouble in Rethem, which is set (mostly) in Gerdel, and which has the PCs hunting down a courier who is transporting a stolen Earthmaster artifact. The adventure is shaping up quite nicely at 90 pages currently, and features plenty of maps and floorplans and both pre-generated character profiles, as well as loads of NPC stats for the GM to use. In addition, the adventure features the art of upcoming talent Daniel Mytryk, who is now busy working on his final illustration for the book: the mendicant Agrikan priest Merrik Cassak. Sketch shown to the left. A fencing priest? Yep, that's the Agrik religion for you.

Fired up

We're putting the finishing touches on our third Monster of the Week adventure, entitled Dreams of Death and Fire. As with the other two we have already finished, it is brilliantly written by Ben Swainbank, and will be coming to DriveThru RPG soon. This one posed a bit of a challenge in that it required the visualization of the Shakespearean character of Oberon, King of the Fairies. We think you'll like what you see when you check out what our fabulous illustrator Catavic did with that character!

February spawned a monster

Work is progressing nicely on our fantasy RPG Draconicus, which is designed to tie in with a boardgame for the same setting which has been prepped and is ready for a Kickstarter launch shortly. We're considering offering the RPG either as a stretch-goal for the boardgame, or possibly as an add-on. Then again, the Draconicus RPG may just become its own Kickstarter campaign - time will tell! We have been playtesting the game as the system is being finalized, using what will be the first adventure for the game – The Darkest Dreaming. For this adventure, we enlisted Catavic's help in visualizing a key antagonist: the dreaded Dragonspawn!

Draconic.us

It's been more than two years in the making, but now we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! The Draconicus fantasy boardgame is very close to finished, and we even have an animated trailer for it! Check it out at Draconic.us and tell us what you think! The production of the boardgame is being sourced currently and we are preparing for the launch of a Kickstarter campaign. A first for most of us, so apologies if this is slow going – we want to make sure we're getting it right!
