Reviews
"The White Circle is a powerful and thought-provoking Call of Cthulhu scenario that combines classic investigative horror with deeply unsettling themes of bigotry, racism and power. Set in 1921 Saint Paul, Minnesota, the adventure casts investigators into a grim struggle against a secret cabal of the city’s elites—men who use dark magic to literally erase people, communities, and their very memory in the name of “cleansing” society. The setting is richly realized, and quite brutal. It ranges from the slums of of Swede Hollow to the corruption of big business, the Polcie and city hall. City Hall and the police force. With haunting moments, such as the sudden, unremembered disappearance of an orphanage, the scenario is quite brutal at times in its exploration of class and bigotry in the roaring 1920s.
It is really well structured and is gorgeously laid out."
