I will return and see the old sun 

shine on the sea of memories shrouded in a misty haze.

My heart stirs with sorrow

since the fading of love with the winds and rains. 

I will return, sometimes feeling empty, sometimes full. 

The passing of Time like the gentle cloud floating by.

Silky stream of hair imbued with fragrance of poetry.

A world of memories, touched with melancholy.

I will return, for I’ve been waiting a long time.

Months and years had rolled by since the cherished long-ago days. 

The moon have changed from full to crescent so many times.

Golden moonlight shining on the silhouette of one lost in thought.  

I’ll return to visit an old friend.

By the stream of long ago, feeling a little wistful.

We’ll together reminisce over the olden days.

As we write poems for each other. 

I want to come back to this place and dream. 

About a time of innocent youth and flowers. 

Suddenly feelings of nostalgia fill my heart. 

I wish that for a thousand years, our love will not change!

Forever in my mind, was the memory of an evening long ago

By each other’s side, we vowed our love to each other forever.
