Chỉ cần một nụ cười
Tâm ta sen hồng nở
Chỉ cần một ánh nhìn
Hồn ta tràn ánh sáng
Nụ cười em vừa tắt
Tâm ta, cánh hoa khô
Em quay mặt bước đi
Lòng ta đầy bóng tối
Bàn chân em thơ ngây
Bước qua đời rất nhẹ
Sao lòng ta già cỗi
Hóa sa mạc ưu phiền
Tâm, khát một nụ cười
Hồn, bóng đêm chờ sáng
Ta bước vào cơn mê
Nghe đời trôi rất lạ
Em là ta ngày trước
Ta là em ngày sau
Ta và em là một
Nở chung đóa vô thường

Just a smile from you,
My heart – a pink lotus blossoming.
Just a glance from you,
My soul filled with light.
When your smile fades,
My heart’s like a withered flower.
When you turn and walk away,
My soul enveloped in darkness.
Your innocent footsteps
Tread lightly through my life.
Yet why does my heart feel so old and bleak,
Like a desolate sand desert in the night.
My heart longs for just one smile.
My soul, in dark shadow, awaits the dawn’s light.
I step into a trance,
Listening to life flowing strangely.
You are me in the past,
I am you in the future.
You and I are one.
Blooming together in this transient world.
