You were just there,

As if Fate has decreed,

also there was me. 

Then love gently arrived, so tender,

Like a cool breeze on a summer eve.

In Saigon today,

The weather seems so strange.

Waiting for each other, morning till evening,

Though the world remains uncertain and shaky,

We will hand-in-hand bear Life’s difficulties.

And suddenly,

Love overflows

When sincerity meets sincerity.

Knowing and understanding each other, 

our hearts need no flowery words.

Let's walk together into the next century.

Where things will be cleaner and brighter.

Spring awakens on the path we share.

The sun will fill the dark nights,

Igniting the flames in cold hearts.

And then, green sprouts will grow on rocks.

And smiles blossoming in our parents' eyes.

Days continue with thousands of  poetic verses,

Flying freely under the warm sun.

Suddenly,

Our hearts beat in unison,

As we hear the bell ringing 

in the evening breeze.
