Sometimes I Still... / Đôi Khi Tôi Còn

Lyrics translated to English by Vuong Thanh

Sometimes I still dream of visiting you,

to see your eyes sparkling like two stars in the sky.

Some long ago night, being crazy in love with you,

I became a thief,

and stole from heaven,

to present to you the gift:,

a thousand strands of my heartstrings,

ten thousands lines of loving words.

Please open the door for me

and let us love each other.

Sometimes, I wait for you

for many nights,

waiting for the wind

to carry your fragrance into my life.

Sometimes I still gaze at the moon,

and think of your beautiful face.

By the lake, I feel your silky smooth hair

with my caressing fingers.

You’re like a precious brook

that flows through my heart.

O How I yearn for your lips.

Sometimes I still return

to stir up the old ashes,

and see your graceful form

like an illusion from thousands of years ago.

And then suddenly the dream faded.

Sometimes I still have a last wish.

Sometime my life still feels like drifting,

and sometime I still have just me and me alone.
