This morning, I stood gazing at the sun’s rays.

Evening falling, with gray clouds filling the vast sky.

Oh, how I feel for the emptiness of the dark night. 

Drifting clouds with the wind stirring the dust of human life.

I’m standing admist the great void.

How can I rediscover the time of youth of bygone years.

Amidst the flood of sand in the rain season,

The sun returns, flowers bloom until spring fades away.

Time keeps flowing on and on.

In human life, so full of hurries, 

one often walks the wrong path. 

Then leaves behind a lingering sorrow.

I wander in this transient world of dust and dreams

Footsteps on the sand that’ll soon be washed away. 

Let’s promise to meet in another life.
