Amid the twilight’s haze,

a figure immersed deep within the mist.

Wandering footsteps in the darkness, 

obscured after the rows of trees, lost in contemplation

Oh dear, don’t be sad.

Look at the seagulls playing with the sea waves. 

Let’s not resent that a day of separation will come. 

In this world, who can truly comprehends our hearts.

On the distant road, a fading silhouette.

Leaving with a heart numb with sadness. 

Many bitter things in life, in the misty twilight, fade away.

My heartstrings, a sad melody harmonizing with the low music notes. 

Oh, the life of a wanderer, attempting to dispel sorrow and longing.

The old words still echo in the wind across a thousand distances.

Vows of old still linger, stirring the soul with regrets.

Ask the lovebirds to send words of affection and longing, 

ask the clouds to send my affectionate love. 

Day of returning, remembering the old pledge by the hillside of beautiful dreams.

Ôi kiếp tha hương cố gạt sầu vương tiếc người ngàn phương

Lời xưa thầm vương trong gió còn baу ngàn trùng

Thề xưa còn haу lãng quên để lòng xao xuуến

nhắn uуên đưa lời nhớ thương, nhắn mâу đem trao  tình mến

ngàу về nhớ lời xưa thề bên đồi huуền mơ....
