The process of writing this script gave me the experience to professionally and accurately follow a formate that is commonly used in filmmaking. It also helped me to write many other scripts and assist others in writing professional scripts.

Analysis

This Character breakdown shows that I was able to effectively define all the characters and storyline of my script. This helped me to clearly communicate with talent on what the script wanted. Reflection

This step in pre-production showed me the importance in having organization and preparation before starting on production. This skill has already proven itself useful by giving me confidence in the work place to organize casting calls by emailing actors and communicating with people with pertinent details of the script.

Article 3

Analysis

This short film completes this outcome by showing that I was able to produce and follow through with all three stages of film: pre-production, production, and post-production. I collaborated with multiple people to develop the script into a moving picture. During production, I was able to direct my actors and communicate clearly with my crew on what I wanted to see in the film. During post-production, I learned more on how to edit scenes together coherently so that they told a story.

Reflection

This film made me realize how important it is to have a crew. I quickly understood that I cannot produce all three stages of a film by myself. I need the collaborative help of others, and I need to be willing to trust people with my creations. I thoroughly appreciated this project because of the encouragement it brought a few months later at the Five16 Film Festival. I loved working with the small crew that I had, especially the little girl actress who I am still connected with to this day.
