I’m Maggie Schlader, an artist and future educator from Grand Rapids, Minnesota. My work and teaching are deeply inspired by nature; it’s where I find quiet moments to breathe, observe, and reconnect. I believe that compassion and community are the roots of learning, and I hope to be a safe place for my students to grow both creatively and personally.
Guided by humanism and constructivist ideals, I love working with my hands and exploring how making can lead to meaning. For me, teaching and art both begin with the same intention— to slow down, notice, and care.
