Formal Statement
The Pattern of Equilibrium Seeking – natural, unyielding, and potent – continues to generate falsifiable predictions derived from its core elements (A = B perfect symmetry and A = Bx deviation with 1–2% "klima"). This addendum presents new blind predictions for upcoming JWST observations of rocky habitable-zone exoplanets in Cycles 5 and 6. These predictions are issued prior to public data release and are sealed for verification in 2026–2028.
Blind Predictions – Atmospheric Biosignatures
For the following 8 rocky habitable-zone exoplanets (selected from high-priority Cycle 5/6 targets with scheduled NIRSpec/MIRI observations):

We predict, before any full transmission/emission spectra are published:
Disequilibrium biosignature triplet: Simultaneous detection of O₂ + CH₄ + O₃ (or DMS as alternative) in disequilibrium abundances exceeding abiotic false-positive thresholds by ≥3σ.
Primary spectral feature: Strongest combined biosignature absorption band at 1.27 µm ± 0.015 µm (O₂ A-band with CH₄ overlap).
Signal depth: 35–55 ppm in transmission spectroscopy.
Temporal/seasonal modulation: ≥20% variation in O₂/CH₄ ratio over orbital phase (anti-correlated), detectable in multi-epoch observations.
These signatures are predicted to arise from the inherent tendency toward equilibrium-seeking in planetary systems, manifesting as persistent chemical disequilibrium driven by biological turnover.
Verification Timeline
Full spectra expected from JWST Cycles 5–6: 2026–2028
Public data releases: staggered through 2027–2029
No adjustments will be made post-observation.
Confirmation would strengthen the pattern's applicability to exoplanetary atmospheres; disconfirmation would constrain specific manifestations while leaving the core framework intact.
