The original Riley Motor Club was founded by the Riley Company in 1925 and its magazine The Riley Record was first published in November 1927. It was replaced in 1950 by the Nuffield publication Motoring.

Numbering of editions was not consistant during the life of the magazine and in this library they are filed with edition numbers to make it easier to identify missing editions.

There were not always 12 editions every year and it is uncertain how many were published during 1938. However it is believed that around 258 editions were published and this library is always seeking to grow its collection.

If you have editions not in this library and would like to donate them please contact the Librarian to discuss the simplest way of safely making them available.                    Email: Historian.rileyccnz@gmail.com
