PRODUCED IN THE POST WII AUSTERITY PERIOD THE CHEQUERED FLAG BROCHURES WERE USED BY BOTH RILEY COVENTRY FOR THE HOME MARKET AND NUFFIELD EXPORTS FOR OVERSEAS MARKETS.
THE SPECIFICATIONS AND SOME OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS VARY DEPENDING ON MARKET, MODEL AND YEAR. HOWEVER, AS USUAL THE RILEY COVENTRY EDITIONS CARRY NO PUBLICATION NUMBER OR DATE AND ALTHOUGH TWO OF THE NUFFIELD EDITIONS CARRY NEL PUBLICATION NUMBERS THE MOST OBVIOUS PERIOD IDENTIFICATION ARE THE ENGINE ILLUSTRATIONS: THE EARLIER EDITIONS SHOW THE RMB ENGINE (Shown without air cleaner) AND THE LATER EDITIONS THE RMB 2 ENGINE (Shown with air cleaner).
LAYOUT & CENTRE FOLDOUT. These reproductions are set in A4 and can be printed as A5 booklets. The four centre pages in the originals folded out as one image and this feature is included as an appendix for separate printing if required.
