lights, curtain, action!

After months of practice, the cast of Clue! is ready for the annual Drama production! This comedic murder-mystery follows the theme of the popular board game, Cluedo, with many thrilling and shocking plot twists.

As members of the household start being murdered, six strangers, meeting for the first time and under pseudonyms (Colonel Mustard, Mrs White, Mrs Peacock, Mr Green, Professor Plum and Ms Scarlett) must collaborate to solve the mystery… whilst all conspiring to try and cover up their own dirty secrets.

This production has been in the works since the end of the first term, and has come a long way since then. The beginning of term two saw the set being built from ordinary pieces of wood into a magnificent room with numerous doors, some of which are so well hidden you wouldn't even be able to spot them. The cast also transformed from school kids reading scripts into characters from another world entirely.

Throughout this week, the cast has been performing for various grades and audiences and every night provides a magical experience. The hall erupts with laughter and excitement as the cast takes the stage, and this excitement and joy continues well after the curtains close because the production is just that good.

As the production comes to a bittersweet finale, I do not doubt that the last shows will be spectacular, and a great introduction to K-week!
