Generally, when we talk to people with high scores in this perspective, they report being most thrilled by doing something new, trying something, or planning and building something.  It's less about the actual thing than it is the creation of the thing.  So, for example, consider two woodcrafters.  One may be very profitable making the same paddle every day, and gotten it down to a science.  The Expressive Kinkster may like working with wood, but their projects are more likely to be a new paddle, a pillory, custom tooled end for a wand, etc.  They may be fine making paddles, but they want to try new materials or new items.  They get thrilled when the creation in their brain comes to life.  Expressive kinksters often report doing a lot of "planning" for their scenes, and even becoming excited just by the planning process.
