Dr. Peng holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a B.A. in Social Work and Philosophy from National Taiwan University.

She is an experienced educator, youth development specialist, and education researcher. Dr. Peng has authored a series of curricula for children and youth, with a strong focus on social and emotional learning.

She served as the Chief Operating Officer of Camp Fire Patuxent Area Council, a youth development organization based in Maryland.

Dr. Peng is passionate about character education, fostering students’ motivation to learn, and enhancing their communication skills.

彭郁云博士生長於台灣，台灣大學社會工作學系、哲學系畢業，馬里蘭大學公園校區國際教育政策博士、教育政策碩士。在台灣時曾任中學老師、青少年社工，從事生命教育與青少年發展主題的教材開發與營會設計，並長期擔任青年輔導、受邀於教師訓練以青少年營會擔任講員、提供訓練。隨夫婿出國後，於Campfire USA負責培訓與課程運作，而後回到學校進修，一邊養育孩子、一邊完成博士學位。彭博士擁有三十年的教學經驗，專注於教學效能與職涯準備（career readiness）相關研究。

2019年起，因應自身孩子的學習需求，她開始投入寫作教材的研發，至今已設計出適用於小學與中學階段的系統性課程，以及春季與暑期寫作營等課程。她觀察到許多華人家庭的家長在數理學科方面較能提供協助，然而面對孩子的寫作發展常感力不從心。因此，她希望透過這個課程，幫助更多孩子突破思考與表達的瓶頸，激發潛在的寫作熱情與表達能力，找到自己發聲的管道。

彭博士現與夫婿與三個孩子定居於美國馬里蘭州。
