This will serve as the cover page for our informational pamphlet which includes a brief description of our project and the table of contents of the pamphlet.
The Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand is a vital component of the senior high school curriculum, designed to equip students with the critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills necessary for understanding human behavior and society. The strand serves as a gateway to a variety of fields such as psychology, education, communication, sociology, and political science.
This will serve as an informative project that aims to provide comprehensive information about the HUMSS strand, helping prospective students make informed decisions about their academic paths. By connecting with alumni who have successfully navigated this strand, the project aims to show the practical benefits and real-world applications of the skills and knowledge gained through HUMSS via information pamphlets.
The objectives of the HUMSSformation are:
To provide information about the HUMSS strand
To refresh their minds on how the HUMSS strand helps to develop their skills
To spread awareness about how the HUMSS strand may help them in college and
To provide the grade 10 BEP students information and ensure they have access to valuable guidance and support for their academic and personal development on the HUMSS Strand
How will this project benefit you?
The project benefits students by providing information about the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, helping them make better decisions about their academic paths. By interviewing members of the KOLAB organization from MHPNHS, students gain insights into how the strand develops valuable skills like critical thinking and communication. Additionally, our group will benefit from this project, as it will help us develop skills such as creativity, teamwork, and management. The project will also provide teachers with resources to support students in their strand selection process. Furthermore, it helps parents understand the HUMSS strand, its objectives, and the skills students develop.
