Expectations:
This neurology rotation focuses on three types of medicine: ambulatory, didactic, and limited inpatient. The program provides trainess with experience in general and specialty neurology. Trainees will learn to diagnose and treat non-emergent neurological disorders in the outpatient setting and neurological emergencies in the inpatient setting.
Trainees are eligible to receive a letter of recommendation on letterhead from the precepting physician with their ENI faculty title. All letters are merit-based. Letters of completion will be on ENI letterhead.
Graduates are only eligible for observerships.
Transitioning patients from inpatient to outpatient care is becoming commonplace in U.S. hospitals. Some medical facilities offer both types of care and are made available depending on patient needs. Outpatient care refers to cases that do not require a patient to stay in a medical facility overnight.

Trainees participating in observerships will be evaluated based on Medical Knowledge and Professionalism.
Trainees participating in hands-on rotations will be evaluated based on the ACGME competencies: Patient Care, Medical Knowledge, Practice-Based Learning and Improvement, Interpersonal and Communications Skills and Professionalism and Systems-Based Practice.

Medical students in their 3rd or 4th year.
