Virtual Postpartum Doula Support
As your virtual postpartum doula, I provide non-judgemental research-based advice and guidance to help prepare and walk you through your transition into parenthood.
Virtual postpartum doula support is an extension of the normal in-person postpartum support. Instead of the typical in-person support, I supply emotional and educational support through online platforms including FaceTime, WhatsApp, Marco Polo, Email and informational videos. Support is provided via video calls, text and/or phone calls, through correspondence on Marco Polo and person-to-person emails. I’m available for any questions that you may have regarding your new baby and the postpartum period in general. If you are having any doubts about what is normal, let me know. If you are having a bad day and feeling overwhelmed, let me know this as well. If you just want someone to talk to because you’ve been in the house all day and want to talk to someone about something other than the baby, I’m available for that too.
I created this resource as a way to connect with new parents who aren’t in close proximity (those who can’t receive my in-person support), for those who have family/friends available to provide physical support but need additional educational/emotional support, and for those who want a friendly, but experienced perspective. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and hear about your postpartum needs!
