BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT

Communication is key in a relationship with your birth doula! During our initial conversation we will get to know each other better and discuss your ideal birth. Once you’ve hired me (what an honor!) we will schedule at least 2 prenatal meetings prior to your due date. During the first prenatal we discuss your birth preferences, hopes and anxieties surrounding your birth and new parenthood. The second prenatal we will revisit those birth preferences,  learn a little about what to expect during the early stages of  labor and childbirth, and try some comfort measures. You can reach me at any time on my cell phone for calls and texts, via email, and via the Marco Polo video communication app. I will be “on call” for your birth two weeks before and two weeks after your due date. Once you are in labor, I will be present to provide emotional and physical support during the active labor phase (or when you realize you need me) until two hours after your child is born.

Birth Doula Packages

Basic $999 Unlimited communication upon signing of contract, two prenatal meetings to discuss birth preferences and comfort measures, on call two weeks before and after EDD, present during birth until two hours after labor.

Preferred $1499; Unlimited communication upon signing of contract, two prenatal meetings to discuss birth preferences and comfort measures, on call two weeks before and after EDD, present during birth until two hours after baby is born, and one postpartum visit scheduled after baby arrives.

Deluxe $1999; Unlimited communication upon signing of contract, two prenatal meetings to discuss birth preferences and comfort measures, on call two weeks before and after EDD, present during birth until two hours after baby is born, and two postpartum visits scheduled after baby arrives.

50% of fee due at signing of contract; remainder of fee due at 34 weeks gestation. Payment plans available (please ask!).
