Continuing our work with AI tools in education, we explored Google Notebook LM, an AI-powered tool that allows users to interact with documents, presentations, or notes in a conversational format. It reads the content and allows users to ask questions, get summaries, or even generate simplified explanations, perfect for students who prefer listening or chatting instead of reading long texts (Auditory learners).
For this assignment, I uploaded a pre-existing presentation on Caribbean Plate Tectonics and its regional impacts. I used Notebook LM to generate a conversational summary of the presentation, making it more accessible and engaging for those who prefer to listen or interact with the content. This tool demonstrated how AI can support diverse learning preferences by turning traditional presentations into interactive learning experiences.
