For this assignment, my group and I collaborated to develop a Biology Chatbot using ChatGPT. We gathered and uploaded a variety of resources including CSEC and CAPE Biology syllabuses, past papers (Paper 1 and 2), and other relevant study documents. These were used to train and inform the chatbot so it could effectively answer curriculum-based questions.
We tested the chatbot by asking it various biology questions aligned with the CSEC and CAPE syllabi. The results were impressive—the chatbot provided accurate, helpful responses, making it a valuable study tool for secondary and post-secondary students across the Caribbean. This project allowed us to explore how AI can be used to support student learning and exam preparation in a practical, interactive way.
