Hi there, I’m Cédric. At 47, I am not training for a podium or a mirror. I am training to be the man my family needs and the leader my career demands.
I live in Bulle (Switzerland) in the shadow of the Moléson. Like many men my age, I balance the weight of a high-stakes professional life with the responsibilities of being a husband and a father.
The world tries to sell men a lie: that once you have a career and a family, you’ve "earned" the right to get soft. They call it "aging gracefully" or "slowing down."
I call it a slow-motion surrender. I refuse to accept that.
I created The Daily Grind Project because I realized a hard truth: my physical capability is not just about me. If I am weak, tired, or undisciplined, I am a liability to the people who depend on me.
Training is the daily tax I pay to remain the Anchor.
In the gym: I don't seek "fitness." I seek potency. I build a body that is durable enough to handle the stress of a boardroom and the demands of a mountain trail.
In the mind: I kill the negotiator every single day. Discipline is the only bridge between the man I am and the man my family deserves.
In life: I train so that when my world gets heavy, I don't break.
This project is for the husbands, the fathers, and the professionals who refuse to drift. We are building a shared standard for men who understand that their health is an insurance policy for their loved ones. I’m not here to give you "motivation." I’m here to share the blueprint for preparedness.
Don't just watch the grind. Own it.
Health is the foundation of everything.
It is the daily decision to invest proactively in my physical and mental well-being. This investment ensures I can sustainably show up for my family, my work, and the challenges of life without burnout.
Discipline is about showing up.
It's the simple commitment to do the things I have to do to move forward. For me, this is about action, not motivation. It means setting the standard and leading by example for my family and community in every facet of the grind.
Curiosity is about continuous learning.
In training, this means being open-minded and constantly seeking better ways to enhance the mind-body connection. My focus is on integrating principles of mental conditioning and strategic thought into every training session.
Whether you have a question about the project, want to share your own story, or just want to say hello.
I read every message.
