Purpose: As part of its mission, and in accordance with the organization's desire to contribute to its home community, The Craftworkers' Guild makes available grants of up to $500 to teachers within the Bedford School District, for the purpose of supporting and encouraging the integration of arts in the curriculum.
Eligibility: Teachers working with the Bedford School District may apply for funds to support projects involving their students.
Check back for the 2020 Teacher Grant Application or email us at CraftworkersGuild@gmail.com for an application . The completed application is due back by mid October.
Bedford's McKelvie Intermediate School
Teachers Kelley Parnell and Jeremy Opitz were awarded $150 to support the integration of the arts into the academic curriculum to support emotional learning.

Bedford's Peter Woodbury Elementary School
Teacher Jantina Stallone was awarded $400 to support the second year of a "Cross-Stitch Club" in grades 2 and 3. This activity is a very clever way to support basic skill building in the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) curriculum.
