A quick guide to everything you need to know before stepping into your Cinderella moment.
Is The Cinderella Project only for girls?
No. The Cinderella Project is open to all youth, regardless of gender identity or expression. We are committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment where every young person can feel confident and supported.
Who do you serve?
The Cinderella Project primarily serves Seattle-area youth ages 13–22, with a focus on supporting individuals navigating adolescence and emerging adulthood.
In some cases, we may extend support to young adults ages 23–24 or provide formalwear to younger children through special initiatives or community distributions. However, our core programming is designed to address the needs of youth within the 13–22 age range.
Is the Seattle Public Library sponsoring or affiliated with your events?
No. The Seattle Public Library is not sponsoring or endorsing our organization or events.
However, they have kindly allowed us to reserve meeting room space at no cost for our events. We are grateful for their support as we continue working toward securing a permanent space of our own.
Can I volunteer for The Cinderella Project?
Yes. The Cinderella Project is a volunteer-run, student-led organization, and we welcome individuals who are interested in supporting our work.
To get involved, please visit our volunteer page or follow us on Instagram @seattlecinderellaproject for current opportunities.
Can my organization sponsor or collaborate with you?
Absolutely. We welcome partnerships with community organizations, schools, and businesses whose missions align with ours.
We are especially interested in collaborating with BIPOC-owned, queer-owned, and community-rooted organizations that share our commitment to equity, accessibility, and youth empowerment.
