We will be working individually and together to read the short story, "The Censors" by Luisa Valenzuela. "The Censors" is a satirical text and was written as a commentary on the government of Argentina in the 1970s. We are reading "The Censors" to uderstand how Valenzuela uses satire effectively to critique the government and to add to our understandig of how societies speak out against injustice.
Each of the below links takes you to the work that you are expected to complete each day. When you are asked to contribute to a shared document, please work to state your own ideas and engage in conversation through writing in response to your peers. We will have opportunities for shared discussions on Zoom, so please make sure to stay on top of the work.
