Skunk geckos are a tropical species that comes from Indonesia and New Guinea. This means that they require the same heat and humidity that Tokay Geckos are accustomed to.  Humidity ranges between 60-80% on average and temperatures range from the mid to upper 80s during the day. Being a species that calls the rainforest home, they appreciate a fair amount of clutter and places to hide. These are all things to consider when preparing to bring one home.
