What is a Homeschool Co-op?

A homeschool co-op is a group of homeschooling families who join together to enrich their homeschooling experience by learning from and with one another.

What Should I Expect from the Co-op?

We are proud to say this is the beginning of our 3rd School Year as a Virtual Homeschool Co-op and we look forward to continued growth. We are dedicated to quality in our Homeschool Co-op and you can expect to enjoy classes from qualified parents.  Our parents are dedicated and consistent.  We have classes that benefit every age group, which include Engineering, Advanced Maths, Integrative Sciences, Language Arts, African Civilization (History), Fine Arts, Foreign Languages, Mindfulness, Tutoring, and more.  Although we have so many great classes, we still have room for YOU! If you are new to homeschooling, we will help you find a class to teach and we meet once per month to offer parental support.  Enhancement Experiences/Field Trips every month are also provided by our Parents on a volunteer basis.

What are the requirements to join the Co-op?

You must be a black family with black children (This includes all melanin dominant ethnicities/nationalities).

You must be homeschooling (not virtual public schooling).

You must be willing to teach at least 2 classes per month

or pay a participation fee.

.*You do not need to be a member of The Birth Guru Organization to participate in the co-op*
