The entire ARRA membership was shocked and saddened upon the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Founding Member Bill Hanna.  Bill was one of the most dedicated historians to come down the pike in a long time and he was proud of the work that the ARRA membership produces.  He was always in the middle of some sort of research project...toiling away in his basement office that was just chock full research material.  Bill was dedicated to the sport of local auto racing!  A life long fan of the Flemington Speedway...he eventually took on a position at the Hunterdon County historic racing facility and went on to wear many hats at the speedway until its closing.  Bill went on to establish the Flemington Speedway Historical Society, becoming its first President.   He was a natural choice to ask to become a member of the group of racing historians that would eventually become Auto Racing Research Associates.    Bill will be sorely missed among his fellow historians and racing fans and friends that knew him from life and the tracks.  To honor Bill, we have established an annual award that would reflect the Dedication and Passion towards the sport that Bill exhibited without fail.  Also....we present this new page in Bill's honor.

We Welcome you to take a look through our special reports pages.  These are pages covering points of interest that just didn't fit the parameters of the other subject sections.  More pages will be added as they are submitted.  Again, welcome to "Bill's Wing" and while you are here....keep Bill's memory in the back of your mind.  Thank you!
