Building

The year was 1965 and Bob Zeigler and his Brother decided to build themselves a speedway.  It took well over a year to accomplish through hard work, some sweat and lots of sacrifice, but during the month of August in 1967....the Zeigler family swung open the gates to their proud, new speedway and  for over ten years...promoted the facility with grit and hard work.

The speedway found success in its early years...however, over the years since..it had its ups and downs.  Promotional changes, the ever changing economy and the whims of competitors saw the speedway suffer the lows and enjoy the highs that comes with a speedway.  Despite its tumultuous history...the facility still operates and ARRA is proud to add it to their roster of active tracks.

In a special presentation, made possible by Bob Zeigler's Son Scott....ARRA can provide a look back at the construction of the speedway through a handful of pictures from the family scrapbook album.
