With the holidays coming up and everyone freaking out about it, let’s talk about what’s overrated out there so you can avoid buying something you’ll regret.

FORTNITE

There are 250 million players, but to be honest, I’m not a fan. I don't see it. It’s just a never-ending hamster wheel with new weapons, skins, and slightly different maps every season. It’s a bad third person shooter. Who cares? Overrated.

HOLIDAY PJS

Do you really need to wear them during one holiday and then wait another year to wear them again? What if you outgrow them? If you’re not growing taller, you’re probably growing wider during quarantine (we all are). What a waste. Overrated.

APPLE AIRPODS

Airpods seem cool, but the jury is still out on whether or not bluetooth devices like Airpods cause cancer. The sound quality isn’t even great. Overrated.

GUCCI

The cost of these items is more than some people earn in a month. Why? Because you want some obnoxious clothing with golden bees on it? Even if your family is absurdly wealthy, if you see a Gucci clothing store, just walk away. Overrated.

HARRY POTTER

Harry Potter is okay. A lot of people love it way too much, though. There’s Harry Potter games, toys, clothing, jewelry, food, facemasks, decorations, rides, websites, and stores. It’s a whole thing. But at the end of the day, it’s all a product of some mediocre movies based on just over a half-dozen admittedly good books. Lord of the Rings is better. Overrated.

HOLIDAY MASKS

Okay, Holiday PJs are one thing, but holiday masks? That's the last straw. We all hate COVID-19. It has RUINED our lives. So, now a bunch of millennials want to make a quick buck by selling cute versions of these demonic things? No, Etsy. Just no. Overrated.
