Among Us launched over two years ago, but the online jellybean/astronaut game is currently seeing a huge popularity increase that started in early September! Following our obsession with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a wholesome game about friendship and taking care of our islands, quarantine has made us hungry for the vacuum of space filled with confusion and deception. That's what all of Among Us is about.
Created by InnerSloth, Among Us' foundation is simple: a game of social deduction where either a crewmate or the lone imposter is a player. The imposter must pretend to perform the assigned regular tasks in the game while killing each crewmate one by one stealthily. A crewmate will call an emergency meeting and have a group conversation and try to find out who the impostor really is if a body is found.
The action takes place aboard a spacecraft, where players see separated rooms where everyday activities are the main stage.
Are you a crewmate or are you an imposter?

Minecraft. A worldwide game full of exploration and adventure. In summer 2021, a brand-new update will be released to the world. In this new update, there are many new things to explore including an addition that fans have wanted forever: the Caves and Cliffs update.
The Cave part of the Caves and Cliffs update features Cave Biomes, such as the Lush caves, the Dripstone caves, and finally the Deep Dark. There will also be two new mobs for the new cave biomes. In the Lush Caves, there'll be Axolotls (basically the dogs of the ocean which help you with fighting the monsters underwater), and in the Deep Dark, there'll be the Warden (the protector of the Deep Dark, very strong and can kill you in two hits even if you have full netherite armor). Lastly, we'll have a wider Cave generation. This makes the caves turn from a dark cramped space into a huge adventure.
Now for the Cliff part of the update! In this Mountain update, fans get a better Mountain generation turning the low hills into huge mountains. Fans will also get to see the brand new mob that everyone voted for last year: GOATS! These guys are very adorable, and jump super high, but watch out - if you're not careful they can push you off the Mountains with ramming speed!
Overall on a scale of 1-10, I would give this brand new update coming out Summer 2021 a 10/10!

With the introduction of Hamilton: An American Musical on Disney+, Hamilton fans have been glued to the television. Hamilton encapsulates the story of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury, and his life; from immigrating to the mainland to his fatal duel with the infamous Aaron Burr. The new musical has many different styles of music, from rap to show tunes. Lin Manuel Miranda tells such a powerful story through his carefully chosen lyrics.
The energetic songs like “Yorktown” will have you pumped up and ready to dance. The sorrowful ballads, like “It’s Quiet Uptown” may have you bawling your eyes out. The cast has such precision and emotion in their performance. I love Lin Manuel’s decision for having an all People-of-Color cast, especially as a contrast to this historic musical. The famous show writer said, “This is a story about America then, told by America now.”
Overall, I would rate Hamilton a 10/10.

If you have Disney+, you probably know about the new, live-action Mulan movie. The film was released on September 4, 2020. Originally, it was available on Disney+, but for a $29.99 “Premiere Access” fee. It is also available on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and other streaming devices, but also for a fee. On November 10, it was released on Blu-ray and DVD. Currently, it comes included with all Disney+ packages.
The film is rated PG- 13 because it features a few scenes that involve slight violence and war. The 2020 film is a remake of the original animated 1998 Mulan Disney movie. Although it is not identical to the original, the plot is still about Mulan going into the army to fight against the Huns. She joins disguised as a man to fight in place of her father. The cast consists of Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, Jason Scott Lee, Gong Li, Niki Caro who is the director, and more.
In my opinion, the original 1998 Mulan is better. Sadly, the live action version does not feature our favorite funny friend, Mushu. Instead, the movie features a phoenix who serves the part of Mulan's guardian. Overall, I would rate the new movie an 8.5/10.

Have you been scrolling through Netflix and keep on passing the show Stranger Things? Stranger Things premiered on July 15, 2016. So far, the show has three seasons while a fourth is underway. I'm guessing you're thinking: “Hmm... what’s Stranger Things”? Well, I’m here to tell you ALL about Stranger Things.
To start off, the creators of the show (twins Matt and Ross Duffer, professionally known as “The Duffer Brothers”) take the 80s horror genre to the next, nostalgic level. The show takes place in Hawkins, Indiana. Four boys find a girl named Eleven with telekinetic powers and the charming awesome-haired Steve Harrington is there to help them figure out just what to do with her.
You can watch the first episode of Stranger Things for free on Netflix, but you'll need a subscription to watch the rest of the series!
Overall, I would rate Stranger Things a 10/10.
