The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a specialized hospital unit that treats newborns who are premature or very sick. For these infants to live and thrive, additional medical assistance is often necessary. By increasing awareness, offering resources, and organizing fundraisers to enhance their care and surroundings, the NICU project aims to benefit these infants and their families.
So far, the project has raised awareness through community outreach, educational posts, and a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $1,000 to support NICU families. The project continues to grow as more people learn about the struggles NICU families face and join in to help.
