Commentary
Given the name of Hannah’s third child, it seems a reasonable conjecture that her parents were William Webb and Katherine Pearson. However, no documentation for this has turned up yet.
Hannah's daughter Harriot was left a book in the 1770 will of Henrietta Martyn. My current conjecture is that Harriot's husband Benjamin Johnson was somehow related to the Martyns. It is clear, however, that Hannah was acquainted with the Martyns for some time before the marriage. Benjamin Johnson and Harriot gave one of their sons the middle name Hewling, which was the maiden name of Rebecca Martyn. One Benjamin and Harriot's daughters married a descendant of Rebecca's sister Elizabeth.
