In the name of god amen I John Wagstaffe of Knightcoate in the p[ar]ish of greate dassett in the Countie of Warwick yeoman being of p[er]fect memory and in good health doe make this my last will and testament First I give and bequeath my soule unto the hands of Almightie god my Creator and Jesus Christ my onlie saviour and Redeemer by whose death onlie and by no meanes of myne owne I hope to be saved, and my body to the earth from whence it came And touchinge the disposinge of my goodes and chattels I will that the deede of gifte which I have made to my son Giles, and the lease which I have made of the p[ar]te of my farme in knightscoate affore unto the said Giles and unto Richard Profitt shall stand and be of force to p[er]forme the trust which I reposed in them.
