Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the SIS and the Local Organizing Committee of the 13th International SIS Congress on Symmetry: Art and Science, I would like to welcome you and convey our appreciation for the confidence you have shown to our Congress.
Kolymbari is a coastal town at the southern end of the Rodopou peninsula, located about 22 km from Chania town, 30 km from the airport and 26km from the Souda port. Near the town is located the historic Gonia Monastery (known also as Monastery of Our Lady of Gonia or Monastery of Panagia Hodegetria). It has an important collection of precious post-Byzantine icons, relics, and other rare religious treasures.
I hope the high standards of this meeting will convince you to come to the Crete Congress, where you will be able to enjoy many aspects of Cretan culture.
