A guide to ranks and promotions in the Galactic Empire.

RANKING REQUIREMENTS

Different ranks possess different requirements in order to progress through the group.
Within this category, all the essentials regarding promotions can be found, and any further questions or concerns can be directed to an Officer in our Communications Server.

If you are seeking a promotion then please contact a Major with all your requirements. Note: this will only be needed for this seeking promotion to ADV rank (Lieutenant+) - promotions below this rank will be done automatically via ClanLabs. If no Majors are available, then please seek a Colonel and then a General before contacting councillors.

Low Ranks

Cadet

- Join the group

Private

- Gain 100 XP

Corporal

- Gain 300 XP

Sergeant

- Gain 500 XP

Middle Ranks

Staff Sergeant

- Gain 700 XP

Chief

- Gain 900 XP

Warrant Officer

- Gain 1200 XP

Advanced Ranks

Lieutenant

- Gain 1500 XP.
- Write a paragraph on why you should be a Lieutenant. This paragraph should contain suitable English and grammar.

Captain

- Gain 2000 XP

- Gain 3 approvals from a High Rank.
- Write a paragraph on why you should be a Captain. This paragraph should contain suitable English and grammar.
- Be a Lieutenant for 5 days.

High Ranks

Major

- Gain 2500 XP.
- Write a paragraph on how you will be a good role model.
- Be a Captain for one week.

Colonel

- Gain 3100 XP.
- Write two paragraphs regarding the duties of a Colonel and what you will do as a Colonel.
- Obtain 5 approvals from a General or higher.
- Be a Major for one week.

General

- Gain 4000 XP.
- Write a paragraph on why you deserve such a prestigious rank
- Write three paragraphs on what you will do as a General and why you deserve the rank above others, which will be sent to the council to be voted on.
- Be a Colonel for ten days.

- Pass a scenarios test, hosted by a Moff Council+, details are listed below.

- Pass a council vote after meeting all other requirements.

Leadership Ranks

Moff Council

- Be selected by the Imperial Ruling Council

Imperial Ruling Council

- Be voted in or handpicked by the Imperial Ruling Council or the Emperor

Imperial Executor

- Be handpicked by the Emperor himself

Galactic Emperor

- Be selected by the Owner or the previous Emperor

Essay Paragraphs

Paragraphs should have a respectable and legible quality of spelling, punctuation and grammar. Failing to meet this standard will result in your paragraph being failed. Each paragraph should be about 4-5 sentences and should remain focused and relevant to the topic or question you need to write on for your rank.

Note: Any plagiarised paragraph can result in failing your requirements and an infraction/demotion depending on severity.

Scenarios Test

In order to pass your council vote, you will need to be:

- Seen as mature and responsible, helpful and cooperative and an overall asset to the empire.

- Seen to have excellent leadership skills and be a good role model to others. This might involve one of your training events being spectated by a councillor without notice.
- Perform outstandingly in scenarios hosted by a councillor before your vote, as part of your requirements. These might be but are not limited to usage of your admin privileges, dealing with rulebreakers, helping a new player etc.

Approvals

Approvals are given by those who are an HR+, depending on what rank your applying for. An approval should be reasonable for the rank applying for by the person giving the approval. Such as, getting a certain amount of kills on a game, case studies, or killing high targets such as Councillors. Approvals only last for 14 days until you need to renew an approval by seeking a renewal from the officer that approved you.
