The Tezuka Laboratory was established at Nagoya City University in April 2026. Our research areas are cryptography and theoretical computer science. We use mathematical and theoretical methods to study the foundations of cryptography and related fields. Our research focuses on theoretical aspects rather than on the implementation of cryptographic schemes or their application to security systems.

Our laboratory primarily focuses on theoretical research. The mathematical formalization of security, rigorous proofs, and computational complexity analysis are central to our research activities. If you are interested in the theoretical aspects of cryptography, our laboratory may be a good choice for you.
However, our laboratory does not cover cybersecurity in general, nor does it cover every area of cryptographic research. In particular, we do not focus on the implementation of cryptographic schemes or their application to security systems. If you are primarily interested in implementing cryptographic technologies or applying them to practical security systems, we would not recommend our laboratory.
