I started the literature review by coming up with a few pointers to guide the direction of my literature review and presentation. These points were what I would want to learn more about this subject, as well as what I wanted people to learn more about when presenting about this subject. I also added a few websites for personal reference.
I started my literature review with searching intensely on the first point, as well as adding a question outline for what I wanted to ask dog owners and veterinarians in the surveys I planned to conduct. I also added a list of resources to refer to at the bottom of the the document.
I researched on the treatments and prevention of obesity, owner's responsibility in their pets health as well as weight perception (points number 2, 3 and 5) over the next week, adding charts and diagrams from the research papers that I have read and videos I have watched regarding this subject.
Adding on to the question outlines that I had, I started to create a list of questions, and also received my mentor's feedback regarding the questionnaire. I had then put the revised questions into the document. At this time, I had also received some information on where I could contact some animal nutritionists, and thus I left the links at the bottom. I also started on the final pointer, which is common health problems related to obesity, as well as summarizing point number 2.
Throughout, I had left little remarks here and there to remind myself to organize the document better, because it was quite messy, with information all over the place. I also reminded myself to check my resources with the credibility criteria.
I organised the questionnaire section as well as added the order points that I would want to present at the top of the review. I also finished up section 4 and made all the final changes necessary.
