This codex follows a strict policy of classification. This is a site only to be seen by the acting members of the Temple Guard.
Tryouts are used to give Jedi the chance to join the division. Each host has lots of flexibility when hosting, so as a result, each tryout will be different from the last. It is normal to not have anyone pass at all, we encourage you to make your trials as difficult as possible. This is a rudimentary guide to the tryouts are classified.
Each host is entitled to do their tryout in a different way. They may add sections or change the order but the guide is the bare minimum.
See the tryout guide for assistance.
Inspections are hosted once in a while to act as an Inspection for the Temple Guard. They are a way for the Command to see how many people the guard can rally and the level of order and discipline throughout the cohort. They may also be hosted by the Emperor which addresses throughout the whole Order.
The guide as to which is used, is as stated:
"[RANK], [UNIT], ready for inspection, [HOST'S RANK]."
Trainings are meant to help refine and sharpen the skills of the Temple Guard. The Protective Detail Training is used to teach the guards on how to properly command a VIP in different scenarios. Each event may be hosted differently but must follow the rudimentary guide.
Protective Detail Trainings MUST be hosted with a minimum of 2 attendees OR a co-host.
See the event guide for assistance.
Combat Trainings are an effective way to keep the skill of the guard sharp. The combat level of the TG must be significantly better than the entire Order and throughout other divisions. Obviously, there will be better people but the majority of the guard should be good in the way of the saber.
Combat Trainings are a free event which may be hosted with 1 or more attendees.
Typically, 5 warmup rounds are hosted, then 7 counted rounds are conducted to take a score and determine who the winner is.
See the event guide for assistance.
General Defense Trainings are hosted to ensure the knowledge and skill a guard has when guarding the Temple.
This event can be hosted with 1 or more attendees. Alike the Protective Detail Training (PDT), the General Defense Training (GDT) uses scenarios as the backbone of its event.
See the event guide for assistance.
