You can permanently delete your Thriftly account and associated account data at any time.
You can delete your account directly from within the app:
Open Thriftly.
Open Profile.
Select Delete Account.
Review the deletion information.
Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Once the deletion request is successfully completed, Thriftly will delete your account and associated data.
Account deletion is designed to permanently remove:
Your Thriftly account
Email address and display name stored by Thriftly
Your scan history
Uploaded item photographs
Item identification results
Comparable marketplace information associated with your scans
Valuation and profit-calculation data
Thriftly's stored subscription record associated with your account
Local scan-history data stored by the Thriftly app
Your Firebase Authentication account is also deleted as part of the account-deletion process.
A limited amount of information may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, technical integrity, or legal purposes.
For example, Thriftly may retain a pseudonymous device-related identifier used to prevent repeated circumvention of free-usage limits.
Technical records such as webhook event identifiers may also be retained after personal identifiers associated with those records have been removed.
Third-party services may retain information according to their own applicable privacy policies and retention policies.
Deleting your Thriftly account does not cancel your Google Play subscription.
If you have an active Thriftly subscription, you must cancel it separately through your Google Play subscription settings to prevent future charges.
Deleting the Thriftly app also does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
If you have uninstalled Thriftly and cannot access the in-app account deletion feature, you can request account deletion by contacting us.
