In December our main task was creating a guide „How can we take care of animals in winter”. Every national group has given some tips on how to protect and help the animals on cold days. This time all groups have used Canva.
December is a month when we are looking forward to celebrating season’s holidays. Students have created gorgeous eco-Chrismas cards with season’s greetings to their new friends. They used digital tools and their drawing skills.
The last task was the Speaking Club. Students were able to write and discuss how they can help animals in winter, what pets they keep, how donate to the shelters or adopt animals from shelters. So they have learnt more about each other. Speaking Club is more interesting to the students because they like to write comments and read the others’ comments.
In December all of the tasks were exciting and interesting.
Our students have done a great job!
Thank you for your amazing work!

It was interesting to read about keeping pets, taking care of domestic and wild animals during winter. All of us are responsible for them.
What should we do? Did you know? Here are some facts from a guide:
People have to take care of the dogs on New Year’s Eve because they are afraid of fireworks and they can easily escape from home.
Most farm (domestic) animals have to be additionally protected with hay in which they can sleep and it keeps them warm.
For wild animals, who can’t sometimes find any food students suggested putting their remnants of food to the forest that they can reach easily.
For birds we have to place feeders where we can. There should be seeds and water.
Some students have hung feeders in their school garden and some of them have written about their school dog, Hero. During their breaktime they play and feed him.
Students were able to write and give tips how they can help animals in winter. So, they have definitely improved their language skills, expanded their vocabulary and they have learnt more about protecting animals.
